Peter Hirst founded Integrated Land Stewardship in 2015, upon completion of his training in Holistic Management with the Savory Institute. Integrated Land Stewardship seeks to apply Holistic principles to the identification, perfection and integration of the most powerful tools and practices for stewardship of and experience on the land.
At first, this effort will exhibit an apparently random and arbitrary set of tools – biochar, permaculture, renewable energy – reflecting Peter’s individual journey and experiences. As our organization and education grows, we will integrate growing collections of tools and ideas that will approach complete integration.
